Quality vs Quantity, What’s More Important?
This is a great question. Ideally, it would be both. If you’re looking to start posting content on your website, social media, or podcast, we’d say start with quantity.
Why quantity? Two reasons:
1. Without quantity, it’s hard to get good enough to produce quality.
Many times we just haven’t put enough reps in to actually know what good content looks like. It’s kind of like working out. In the beginning, you’re not going to perform the best, perfect form, squat. It takes practice. You should start with just showing up to the gym everyday and practicing the movement before you start worrying about the quality.
2. Focusing on quantity builds the muscle of consistency.
Consistency is key. The businesses that are still current are the ones who stayed consistent with the competitive, ever changing marketplace. If you are wanting to improve your marketing, you’re going to need to build the muscle of being a producer more than you are a consumer. That only comes with consistent, imperfect action.
We understand that increasing your quantity takes a lot of time. We try to help lessen that burden for our clients. One of our value propositions is saving you time as a business owner. We come alongside as your marketing partner and create, post, and manage your content. We understand that you need to focus on other areas of your business.
